The fuel rails are replaced. I found the easiest way was to put a little silicon grease on the ‘O’rings then ease the rail down over each injector starting fron the front end. The injector plugs are connected, along with the knock sensor, and the wires tidied and clipped out of the way

The rails are held in place by brackets at the back (arrowed), and the connection to the fuel dampers.

Don’t forget the rail clips which hold the injectors onto the fuel rail. They are fiddly but necessary. It is not difficult to drop them into the vee!
